15 January 1787 report in The Times of the death of an employee of Barclay Perkins.On Thursday a drayman loading a dray at Thrale's brewhouse in the Borough, in lifting a barrel into the dray he unfortunately fell under the wheel, and the horse going on it went over him, and killed him on the spot.
