Comprising a dolphin sweetmeat stand, pair of tureens, covers and stands and a single stand, sauceboat and stand, four serving bowls and stands, pair of 4⅛ inch platters, a 4⅞ inch platter, a 5⅝ inch platter, and fourteen dinner plates; each within an underglaze-blue shell-edge, impressed “WEDGWOOD,” “L,” and painter’s flourishes in blue enamel; a set of five miniature turned wood condiment containers comprising three casters and a pair of bottles; and a set of four carved bone forks and knives, all originally part of the set. The height of the sweetmeat stand is 2⅝ inches, and the diameter of the dinner plate is 2⅝ to 2¾ inches. Sold 30/31 October 2010 by Mark and Marjorie Allen Antiques, New Hampton, New Hampshire at Northeastern Auctions for $13,570.
