Grandma's Gone

One quiet evening the angels came
And took Grandma Thess far away
But in the stillness of the night
We could almost hear Grandma Thess say

"Dear Grandchildren, I will miss you
You all mean so much to me
But I have fulfilled my purpose on earth
I must now depart
From this earthly vessel

No more tears or earthly cares
Only peace and joy forever
And love beyond compare

So remember all the good times
Don't think about the sad
Treasure all the special moments
Through the years we've always had

And Grandsons if you trust in Jesus
And accept him as your personal
Saviour
I can assure this and more
You will get a hug from Grandma Thess
Someday on Heaven's golden shore"
