Sarah’s Hebrew inscription identifies her father simply as "Mr. Avraham" without the traditional "son of" to indicate her father’s Jewish lineage. This was because converts are traditionally described as being the “child of Avraham Avinu” (Abraham our patriarch) the first monotheist and the spiritual “father” of all who join the Jewish people, rather than the biological paternal ancestry.
