      Hi
I’m not sure if you saw but I found the grave and death certificate for Elizabeth (Haines) Smith my great grandfather William Smiths first wife. William Smith was the son of Your Sarah Ann Ivory.
Elizabeth (Haines) Smith died in the town of Marton in the Rangitikei in the north island Manawatu/Palmerston North Area in 1916 and is buried next to her daughter Elizabeth Emily (Smith) Hall but the headstone has Emily Elizabeth Hall.

Your Thrale record has been very helpful pointing me in the right direction.

From the union of William Smith and Elizabeth Haines I have only researched Elizabeth Emily (Smith) Hall and Barbara Ellen/Helen (Smith) Ward
Of William Smiths Siblings I have only looked at Barbara (Smith) Drummond mainly because she was the second wife of William Drummond and he had a substantial amount of land in the Upper Moutere in the Motueka Nelson area and his Will, the codiciles and probate are available on NZ archways detailing the parcels and who got what.

You can see all I’ve done on Wikitree or find a grave

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ivory-672 Sarah Ann Ivorys death certificate is loaded there. It shows she was buried in the Wesleyan Cemetery in Motueka. There is no headstone and the cemetery is now administered by the local iwi/tribe and their memorial focus is more towards the indigenous burials
You can see from wikitree that I have done a lot on William Smiths line from second/bigamist marriage which is where I come from.
