My father-in-law was Frederick George Howland Penn (dec 1998). Penn was his adopted name, but Howland was his birth name. His mother was Beatrice Alice Howland, who later married Henry Thrale Cox. My husband Malcolm is an only child, and has no living relatives on his fathers side that he is aware of. I am really interested in contacting relatives of Beatrice & Henry's 2 daughters, Ethel & Elizabeth, as they are/were Fred's half-sisters. If it is possible for you to pass on any contact details to us, or alternatively you could pass on my email address to an relevent family members it would be greatly appreciated. My husband was very touched to find a photo of his grandothers grave on your site, as we are in Australia and researching his family tree has proven quite difficult from all the way over here!
